Psalms ; Isaiah 1, verse 18-20
Source: Bible New International Version
18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the good things of the land;
20 but if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken
My point of view about above verses
God told Isaiah tell people wash and make yourself clean – take your evil deeds out of my sight & stop doing wrong
God told learn to do right and ask for justice . Defend the oppressed or broken people . People who does not have father – take their case and also plead the case of the widow.
God told if you will be obedient your sins even if those are very deep will be forgiven and you will eat the good things of land but if you will rebel you will be killed by sword
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
