Isaiah 8, verse 5- 8

Isaiah and His Children as Signs
5 The Lord spoke to me again:
6 “Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah, 7 therefore the Lord is about to bring against them the mighty floodwaters of the Euphrates— the king of Assyria with all his pomp. It will overflow all its channels, run over all its banks 8 and sweep on into Judah, swirling over it, passing through it and reaching up to the neck. Its outspread wings will cover the breadth of your land, Immanuel!”
5 پھر ایک بار خدا وند نے مجھ سے فرمایا۔ 6 میرے مالک نے کہا، “یہ لوگ چشمہ شیلوخ کے آہستہ بہنے والا پانی کو لینے سے انکار کردیا۔ یہ لوگ رضین اور رملیاہ کے بیٹے کے ساتھ خوش رہتے ہیں۔ 7 اس لئے اب دیکھو ! میں خدا وند دریائے فرات سے شدید سیلاب لانے والا ہوں۔ سیلاب کا یہ پا نی اس کے سارے نالوں سے اوپر اٹھیگا اسکے کناروں سے اوپر بہے گا۔ 8 اور وہ پانی یہوداہ میں بڑھتا چلا جائے گا اور اسکی طغیانی بڑھتی جائے گی۔ سیلاب کا پانی یہوداہ کی گردن تک پہنچے گا ”
عمانوایل ، “یہ سیلاب پھیلے گا اور تیرے سارے ملک کو ڈھانک لے گا۔ ”
My point of view about above verses
Isaiah said God will give you a sign – the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and we will call him Immanuel – he will eat curds and honey when he knows to reject the wrong and choose right – the land of two kings will be laid waste
God told Isaiah – made love to prophetess, she conceived and gave birth to son and Lord said to me name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. For before the boy knows how to say my father or my mother – the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria
God told Isaiah (Immanuel) As these people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah so mighty floodwaters of Euphrates will sweep on Judah
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
