Isaiah 10, verse 28-34

The Remnant of Israel
28 They enter Aiath; they pass through Migron; they store supplies at Mikmash. 29 They go over the pass, and say, “We will camp overnight at Geba.” Ramah trembles; Gibeah of Saul flees. 30 Cry out, Daughter Gallim! Listen, Laishah! Poor Anathoth! 31 Madmenah is in flight; the people of Gebim take cover. 32 This day they will halt at Nob; they will shake their fist at the mount of Daughter Zion, at the hill of Jerusalem.
33 See, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will lop off the boughs with great power. The lofty trees will be felled, the tall ones will be brought low. 34 He will cut down the forest thickets with an ax; Lebanon will fall before the Mighty One.
اسرائیل پر اسور کی فوج کا حملہ
28 عیّات کے قریب فوج داخل ہو ئی۔ وہ مجرون سے ہو کر گذری۔ وہ اپنے رسدوں کو مکّماس میں جمع کئے ہیں۔ 29 وہ گھا ٹی سے پار گئے انہو ں نے جبعہ میں رات کا ٹی۔رامہ ڈرا ہوا تھا۔جبعہ کے ساؤل کے لوگ بھاگ نکلے۔
30 اے جلّیم کی بیٹی چیخ مار ! اے لیس توجہ دے ! اے عنتوت مجھے جواب دے ! 31 مد منہ کے لوگ بھاگ رہے ہیں جیبیم کے لوگ چھپے ہو ئے ہیں۔ 32 آج فوج نوب میں خیمہ زن ہو گی اور یروشلم کے کو ہ صیون پر حملہ کر نے کی تیاری کرے گی۔
33 دیکھو! خدا قادر مطلق بغیر کسی رحم و کر م کے درختوں کی شاخوں کو چھانٹ ڈا لے گا۔سب سے لمبے درخت کاٹ دیئے جا ئیں گے۔ اور جو اونچے تھے اسے چھو ٹا کر دیا جا ئے گا۔ 34 خداوند اپنی کلہاڑی سے جنگل کو کاٹ ڈا لے گا اور لبنان کے عظیم درخت (امراء) گر پڑیں گے۔
My point of view about above verses
God said although Israelites are as numerous as sand on sea but only few will return and justice will be done like flood and remnant of Israel will rely on God only
God told Israelites don’t be afraid from Assyrians – very soon my anger will end for you and my wrath will be directed to their destruction
God cares for his people even if He once punish them
God will lash them with a whip & Assyrians yoke will be taken from your neck my people
God will cut down the thickest forests – Lebanon will fall before the mighty one
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
