Isaiah 30, verse 16 - 17

16 You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.’ Therefore you will flee! You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’ Therefore your pursuers will be swift! 17 A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.”
16 تم کہتے ہو کہ ، “نہیں ہمیں تیز گھو ڑوں کی ضرورت ہے جن پر چڑھ کر ہم جنگ میں جا ئیں گے۔” یہ سچ ہے تمہیں تیز گھوڑو ں کی ضرورت ہے۔لیکن وہ یہ کہ وہاں سے بھاگنے کے لئے کیوں کہ دشمن کے گھو ڑے تمہا رے گھو ڑو ں سے زیادہ تیز ہو ں گے۔ 17 ایک دشمن کی دھمکی سے تمہا رے ہزارو ں لو گ بھاگ کھڑے ہوں گے۔ اگر پانچ دشمن ایک ساتھ للکاریں گے تو تمہا رے سبھی لوگ غائب ہو جا ئیں گے۔ وہاں صرف ایک ہی چیز بچی رہ جا ئے گی وہ ہے تمہا ری فوجو ں کے جھنڈوں کا ڈنڈا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told in repentance, rest, quietness and trust is your salvation but you don’t have anything of it
God said you will flee – a thousand will flee at the threat of one
If war is not as per God's will - defeat is must -
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
