Jerusalem Under Siege
4 “Prepare for battle against her! Arise, let us attack at noon! But, alas, the daylight is fading, and the shadows of evening grow long. 5 So arise, let us attack at night and destroy her fortresses!”
4 یروشلم کے خلاف لڑنے کیلئے تیار ہو جا ؤ،
ہم لوگ دو پہر کو شہر پر حملہ کریں گے۔
لیکن پہلے ہی دیر ہو چکی ہے۔
شام کا سایہ بڑھتا جا تا ہے۔
5 اس لئے اٹھو! ہم شہر پر رات میں حملہ کریں گے۔
ہم یروشلم کی دیواروں کو فنا کریں گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told people of Benjamin flee for safety as disaster is coming from north to destroy Zion – Shepherds along their flocks pitch their tents to get their portion
God told others are preparing to battle against her(Jerusalem) – and destroy her fortresses
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
