Listen !!!! God speaks

Date:      February 14th , 2025

 Jeremiah 7, verse  16-19

16 “So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you. 17 Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to arouse my anger. 19 But am I the one they are provoking? declares the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?

16 “اے یرمیاہ! جہاں تک تمہا ری بات ہے، تم یہودا ہ کے ان لوگوں کے لئے دعا مت کرو۔ نہ ان کے لئے التجا کرو اور نہ ہی ان کے لئے دعا۔ان کی مدد کے لئے مجھ سے منت مت کرو ان کے لئے میں تمہا ری فریاد کو نہیں سنو ں گا۔ 17 “میں جانتا ہوں کہ تم دیکھ رہے ہو کہ وہ سارے یہوداہ کے شہر میں کیا کر رہے ہیں۔ تم یہ بھی دیکھ سکتے ہو کہ وہ یروشلم کے چوراہوں پر کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ 18 یہودا ہ کے لوگ جو کر رہے ہیں وہ یہ ہے بچے لکڑی جمع کرتے ہیں اور باپ آ گ سلگاتے ہیں اور عورتیں آٹا گوندھتی ہیں تا کہ آسمان کی ملکہ کے لئے رو ٹیاں پکا ئیں اور غیر خدا ؤں کی عبادت کرنے کے لئے مئے کا نذرانہ پیش کرتے ہیں وہ لوگ ایسا مجھے غضبناک کر نے کے لئے کر تے ہیں۔ 19 لیکن میں وہ نہیں ہوں جسے یہودا ہ کے لوگ سچ مچ چوٹ پہنچا رہے ہیں۔“یہ پیغام خداوند کا ہے۔ ” وہ صرف خود کو ہی چوٹ پہنچا رہے ہیں۔ وہ خود کو شرمندہ کر رہے ہیں۔” 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah that stand at the gate of Lord’s house and proclaim this message

God says do not think that you are in my tample and do whatever you want rather

do good with widows, fatherless and foreigners, do not shed innocent blood and deal justly and do not worship other gods then i will let you live near my tample  

God said you will steal, murder and lie and then enter my house - do you thinks its a place of living for robers - i am watching you 

God said i will destroy this temple as i destroyed before and throw you out as i throw out people of Epharim 

God said all family members are together to worship other gods like queen of heaven - so do not ask any favour for such people - they are thinking that they are harming me - but not they are actually harming themselves 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
