 Jeremiah 10, verse 11 & 18

God and Idols

11 “Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’”

18 For this is what the Lord says:     “At this time I will hurl out     those who live in this land; I will bring distress on them     so that they may be captured.”

11 خداوند فرماتا ہے: “ان لوگوں کو یہ پیغام دو

    ان جھو ٹے خدا ؤں نے زمین و آسمان نہیں بنا ئے

    اور وہ جھو ٹے خداوند فنا کر دیئے جا ئیں گے، اور زمین و آسمان سے نیست ونابود ہو جا ئیں گے۔” 

18 خداوند فرماتا ہے:

“اس بار سچ مُچ میں یہودا ہ کے لوگو ں کو اس ملک سے با ہر پھینک دو ں گا۔

    میں ان لوگو ں کو تکلیف دوں گا

    تا کہ ان کے دشمن ا نہیں تلاش کریں گے۔” 

My point of view about above verses

God says do not be like other peoples who become terrified by signs in heaven and worship idols made by their own hands which can't talk and walk - those idols are worthless as they can't harm and even do no good 

Those are false gods as they did not make heaven and earth so they will be parished and all who are dependant on them will be thrown out in front of their enemies 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
