Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 11, verse 6-8

The Covenant Is Broken

 6 The Lord said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem: ‘Listen to the terms of this covenant and follow them. 7 From the time I brought your ancestors up from Egypt until today, I warned them again and again, saying, “Obey me.” 8 But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.’”

6 خداوند نے مجھ سے کہا، “اے یرمیاہ! اس پیغام کی تعلیم یہودا ہ کے شہروں اور یروشلم کی سڑکوں پر دو۔پیغام یہ ہے،اس معاہدے کی باتوں کو سنو اور ان پر عمل کرو۔ 7 میں نے تمہا رے باپ دادا کو ملکِ مصر سے با ہر لا تے وقت ایک تنبیہ دی تھی آج تک تا کید کر تا اور بر وقت جتاتا اور کہتا رہا کہ میری سنو۔ 8 پر انہوں نے میری نہیں سنی بلکہ انہوں نے بُری خواہشات کی پیردی کی۔ انہوں نے میرے معاہدے پر عمل نہیں کیا جس کا کہ میں نے حکم دیا تھا۔ اسلئے میں انہیں معاہدے کے شرط کے مطابق سزادوں گا۔” 

My point of view about above verses

God said obey my commandments and i will give you land flowing with milk and honey - you need to obey me 

God said if you will not obey me, i will bring on you all the curses of the covenant made with you

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
