Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 11, verse 9-13

The Covenant Is Broken

 9 Then the Lord said to me, “There is a conspiracy among the people of Judah and those who live in Jerusalem. 10 They have returned to the sins of their ancestors, who refused to listen to my words. They have followed other gods to serve them. Both Israel and Judah have broken the covenant I made with their ancestors. 11 Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them. 12 The towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they will not help them at all when disaster strikes. 13 You, Judah, have as many gods as you have towns; and the altars you have set up to burn incense to that shameful god Baal are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.’

11 اس لئے خداوند فرماتا ہے: “میں یہودا ہ کے لوگو ں پر جلد ہی بھیانک مصیبت لا ؤں گا۔ وہ بچ کر بھاگ نہیں پا ئیں گے، اور وہ مدد کے لئے مجھے پکاریں گے لیکن میں ان کی ایک نہیں سنوں گا۔ 12 یہودا ہ کے شہر اور یروشلم کے باشندے جا نیں گے اور ان خدا ؤں کو جن کے آگے وہ بخور جلاتے ہیں پکاریں گے، پر وہ مصیبت کے وقت ان کو ہر گز نہ بچا ئیں گے۔

13 “کیوں کہ اے یہودا ہ! جتنے تمہارے شہر ہیں اتنے ہی تمہارے بت ہیں۔ تمہارے رسوا کن قربانگا ہ کا استعمال بعل کے لئے بخور جلانے کیلئے کیا جا تا ہے۔ اتنی ہی قربان گا ہیں ہیں جتنی یروشلم کی گلیاں ہیں۔

My point of view about above verses

God said obey my commandments and i will give you land flowing with milk and honey - you need to obey me 

God said if you will not obey me, i will bring on you all the curses of the covenant made with you

God said you are burning incense and worshipping other gods so i will bring a disaster on you - which you can't escape 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
