Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 11, verse 14-15

The Covenant Is Broken

14 “Do not pray for this people or offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.

15 “What is my beloved doing in my temple     as she, with many others, works out her evil schemes?     Can consecrated meat avert your punishment? When you engage in your wickedness,     then you rejoice.

14 اے یرمیاہ! جہاں تک تمہاری بات ہے، یہودا ہ کے ان لوگوں کیلئے دعا نہ کرو،میں سنوں گا نہیں۔ وہ لوگ مصیبت اٹھا ئیں گے اور تب وہ مجھے مدد کیلئے پکاریں گے، لیکن میں سنوں گا نہیں۔

15 “میرا محبوب(یہودا ہ) میرے ہیکل میں کیوں ہے؟    اسے وہاں رہنے کا حق نہیں ہے۔ اس نے بہت سے بُرے کام کئے ہیں۔اے یہودا ہ! کیا تم نے سوچا ہے کے منت اور مقدس گوشت تمہا ری شرارت کو دور کریں گے؟”    کیاتم ان کے ذریعہ سے رہا ئی پا ؤگے؟ تم شرارت کر کے خوش ہو تی ہو؟

My point of view about above verses

God said obey my commandments and i will give you land flowing with milk and honey - you need to obey me 

God said if you will not obey me, i will bring on you all the curses of the covenant made with you

God said you are burning incense and worshipping other gods so i will bring a disaster on you - which you can't escape 

God said to Jermiah do not pray for such wicked people as when they call in their distress - I will not listen

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
