 Jeremiah 11, verse 18-20

Plot Against Jeremiah

18 Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,

“Let us destroy the tree and its fruit;     let us cut him off from the land of the living,     that his name be remembered no more.”

20 But you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously     and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them,     for to you I have committed my cause.

18 خداوند نے مجھے دکھا یا کہ کچھ لوگ میرے خلاف سازش کر رہے ہیں۔ 19 خداوند نے مجھے دکھا یا کہ میں اس پالتومیمنہ کی مانند تھا جسے ذبح کرنے کے لئے لے جا یا جا تا ہے اور میں اس سے بے خبر تھا۔ وہ لوگ کہہ رہے تھے یہ سب باتیں میرے با رے میں کہہ رہے تھے: “ہم لوگ درخت کو اسکے پھل سمیت کاٹ کر تبا ہ کر دیں تا کہ اس کا نام مستقل طور پر انلوگوں کی فہرست سے جو کہ زندہ ہیں ہٹ جا ئے۔” 20 لیکن اے خداوند قادر مطلق تو صداقت سے عدالت کرتا ہے۔ تو لوگوں کے دل و دماغ کی آزمائش کرنا جانتا ہے۔ برائے مہربانی ان لوگوں سے بدلہ لے کیوں کہ میں اپنی حفاظت کے لئے تم پر منحصر کرتا ہوں۔ 

My point of view about above verses

When people of Israel planing to destroy Jeremiah, God shows him their plans and Jermiah asked God for vengence

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
