 Jeremiah 11, verse 21-23

Plot Against Jeremiah

21 Therefore this is what the Lord says about the people of Anathoth who are threatening to kill you, saying, “Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord or you will die by our hands”— 22 therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will punish them. Their young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine. 23 Not even a remnant will be left to them, because I will bring disaster on the people of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.”

21 عنتوت کے لوگو ں نے یرمیاہ سے کہا تھا، “خداوند کے نام پر نبوت نہ کرو ورنہ ہم تمہیں مار ڈا لیں گے۔” خداوند نے ان لوگوں کے بارے میں یہ کہا۔ 22 خداوند قادر مطلق فرماتا ہے، “میں جلد ہی عنتوت کے لوگوں کو سزا دو ں گا۔ ان کے جوان جنگ میں مارے جا ئیں گے۔ان کے بیٹے بیٹیاں قحط سالی سے مریں گے۔ 23 شہر عنتوت میں کو ئی بھی شخص نہیں بچے گا۔ کو ئی شخص زندہ نہیں رہے گا۔ میں انہیں سزا دو ں گا۔ میں ان پر آفت لا ؤں گا۔” 

My point of view about above verses

When people of Israel planing to destroy Jeremiah, God shows him their plans and Jermiah asked God for vengence

God told Jeremiah the people who are trying to kill you (people of Anathoth) will be punished. Their young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine- not even a remnant will be left from them

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
