 Jeremiah 12, verse 3-4

Jeremiah’s Complaint

3 Yet you know me, Lord;     you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered!     Set them apart for the day of slaughter! 4 How long will the land lie parched     and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked,     the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,     “He will not see what happens to us.”

3 لیکن اے میرے خداوند! تو میرے دل کو جانتا ہے،

    تو مجھے اور میرے دل کو دیکھتا اور پرکھتا ہے۔ میرا دل تیرے ساتھ ہے۔

ان شریروں کو بھیڑوں کی مانند ذبح ہو نے کے لئے کھینچ کر نکال

    اور قربانی کے روز کے لئے انہیں چن۔

4 کتنے زیادہ وقت تک زمین پیاسی پڑی رہے گی؟

    گھاس کب تک سو کھی اور مر جھائی ہو ئی رہے گی؟

کیونکہ وہ لوگ جو اس زمین پر رہتے ہیں بہت شریر ہیں۔

    جانور اور پرندے بھی مر چکے ہیں۔

وہ شریر لوگ کہتے ہیں،

    “یرمیاہ نہیں جانتا ہے کہ کیا ہو نے جا رہا ہے۔” 

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah is asking to God that why wicked are prospering and at peace 

He says drag them these wicked people like sheep going for slaughter - land is desolate because of their wickedness

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
