 Jeremiah 12, verse 13-17

Jeremiah’s Complaint

God’s Answer

13 They will sow wheat but reap thorns;     they will wear themselves out but gain nothing. They will bear the shame of their harvest     because of the Lord’s fierce anger.”

14 This is what the Lord says: “As for all my wicked neighbors who seize the inheritance I gave my people Israel, I will uproot them from their lands and I will uproot the people of Judah from among them. 15 But after I uproot them, I will again have compassion and will bring each of them back to their own inheritance and their own country. 16 And if they learn well the ways of my people and swear by my name, saying, ‘As surely as the Lord lives’—even as they once taught my people to swear by Baal—then they will be established among my people. 17 But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it,” declares the Lord.

13 لوگ گیہوں بو ئیں گے،

    لیکن وہ صرف کانٹے ہی کا ٹیں گے۔

انہوں نے مشقت اٹھا ئی لیکن فا ئدہ نہ اٹھا یا۔

    وہ اپنی فصل پر نادم ہوں گے۔خداوند کے قہر نے یہ سب کچھ کیا۔” 

اسرائیل کے پڑوسیوں سے خداوند کا وعدہ

14 اس طرح میں خداوند فرماتا ہوں: “میں اپنے لوگوں کے سارے شریر پڑوسیوں کے خلاف ہو جا ؤں گا۔ میں ان لوگوں کو سطح زمین سے اکھاڑ ڈا لوں گا جو مورثی زمین کے نزدیک رہے جسے کہ میں نے اسرائیل کی قوموں کو دی تھی۔ میں اسرائیل کے خاندان کو بھی ان کے درمیان سے نکال پھینکوں گا۔ 15 لیکن ان لوگوں کو ان کے ملک سے اکھا ڑ پھینکنے کے بعد میں ان کیلئے افسوس کروں گا۔ اور ہر ایک کو ان کی میراث میں اور ہر ایک کو ان کی زمین میں پھر لا ؤں گا۔ 16 اور یوں ہو گا کہ اگر وہ دل لگا کر میرے لوگوں کے راستہ کو سیکھیں گے کہ میرے نام کی قسم کھا ئیں کہ خداوند زندہ ہے،جیسا کہ انہوں نے میرے لوگو ں کو سکھا یا کہ بعل کی قسم کھا ئیں تو وہ میرے لوگوں میں شامل ہو کر قائم ہو جا ئیں گے۔17 لیکن اگر کو ئی قوم میرے پیغام کو اَن سنی کر تی ہے تو میں اسے پو ری طرح فنا کر دو ں گا۔ میں اسے سو کھے پو دے کی مانند اکھا ڑ ڈا لوں گا۔” یہ پیغام خداوند کا ہے۔

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah is asking to God that why wicked are prospering and at peace 

He says drag them these wicked people like sheep going for slaughter - land is desolate because of their wickedness

God told Jeremiah if you are tired in your saved country - how you will manage in another place - Your own people are against you - so do not trust on their sweet talks 

God said i forsake my people / my inheritance and handed them over to their enemies (beasts) so they can be devoured by them 

God said shepherds had ruin my vinyard so they will be punished by soldiers of other nations

However if they repent and swear by name i will establish them in their land again and uproot all those who took over their inheritence but if they do not listen they will be uprooted like a dry plant

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
