 Jeremiah 13, verse 12-15

Wineskins

12 “Say to them: ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Every wineskin should be filled with wine.’ And if they say to you, ‘Don’t we know that every wineskin should be filled with wine?’ 13 then tell them, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am going to fill with drunkenness all who live in this land, including the kings who sit on David’s throne, the priests, the prophets and all those living in Jerusalem. 14 I will smash them one against the other, parents and children alike, declares the Lord. I will allow no pity or mercy or compassion to keep me from destroying them.’”15 Hear and pay attention,

    do not be arrogant,

    for the Lord has spoken 

یہودا ہ کو تنبیہ

12 “اے یرمیاہ! یہودا ہ کے لوگوں سے کہو: “اسرائیل کا خداوند خدا جو کہتا ہے، وہ یہ ہے: ہر ایک مٹکے میں مئے بھری جا ئے گی۔ وہ لوگ ہنسیں گے اور تم سے کہیں گے۔یقیناً ہی ہم جانتے ہیں۔ کہ ہر ایک مٹکے میں مئے بھری جا ئے گی۔ 13 تب تم ان سے کہنا، خداوند یوں فرماتا ہے، ’دیکھو میں اس ملک کے سب باشندوں کو ہاں ان بادشا ہوں کو جو داؤد کے تخت پر بیٹھتے ہیں اور کا ہنوں اور نبیوں اور یروشلم کے سب باشندوں کو مستی سے بھر دوں گا۔ 14 میں یہودا ہ کہ لوگوں کو ٹھو کر کھا کر ایک دوسرے پر گرنے دو ں گا۔ یہاں تک کہ با پ اور بیٹا ایک دوسرے پر گریں گے۔”یہ خداوند کا کلام ہے، “’میں نہ ان کے لئے افسوس کروں گا، اور نہ ہی ان پر رحم کروں گا۔ اور جب وہ برباد ہو ں گے میں نہ ہی ان کی مدد کروں گا اور نہ ہی ان پر رحم کھا ؤں گا۔” 

5 سنو اور توجہ دو،خداوند نے تمہیں کلام دیا ہے، گھمنڈی مت بنو۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist and Jeremiah did that

God told Jeremiah – take the belt which is around your waist and hide it in a gap in rocks at Perath – so I did it as God told me

After many days God told me to get it back where I hide it – but now it is ruined and useless that i can't wear it any more

God told me in the same way I will ruin the pride of Judah and Jerusalem – as they are wicked people and follow the stubbornness of their hearts. They will be like that belt which is totally ruined and useless – as belt is bound around the waist so in the same way I bound the people of Judah and Israel to me to be my people for my praise and honor but they did not listen

So tell them every wineskin should be filled with wine – means everybody will be dunked either rulers or prophets – I smash them one against the other, parents and children also – I will show no mercy and passion. God said do not be arrogant rather pay attention on my wordsMay God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
