Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 13, verse 17-19

17 If you do not listen,

    I will weep in secret

    because of your pride;

my eyes will weep bitterly,

    overflowing with tears,

    because the Lord’s flock will be taken captive 

18 Say to the king and to the queen mother,     “Come down from your thrones, for your glorious crowns     will fall from your heads.” 19 The cities in the Negev will be shut up,     and there will be no one to open them. All Judah will be carried into exile,     carried completely away.

17 یہودا ہ کے لوگو! اگر تم خداوند کی سننے سے انکار کر تے ہو

    تو تیرے غرور کے سبب سے میں اکیلا روؤں گا۔

ہا ں میری آنکھیں پھو ٹ پھو ٹ کر رو ئیں گی

    اور آنسو بہا ئیں گی۔ خداوند کا گلہ اسیری میں چلا گیا۔

18 یہ باتیں بادشا ہ اور اس کی ماں سے کہنا چا ہئے،

    “اپنے تخت سے اترو کیوں کہ

    تمہا رے حسین تاج تمہا رے سروں سے گر چکے ہیں۔”

19 جنوب کے شہر بند ہو گئے

    اور انہيں کو ئی نہیں کھولتا۔

سب بنی یہوداہ اسیر ہو گئے

    سب کو اسیر کر کے لئے گئے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist and Jeremiah did that

God told Jeremiah – take the belt which is around your waist and hide it in a gap in rocks at Perath – so I did it as God told me

After many days God told me to get it back where I hide it – but now it is ruined and useless that i can't wear it any more

God told me in the same way I will ruin the pride of Judah and Jerusalem – as they are wicked people and follow the stubbornness of their hearts. They will be like that belt which is totally ruined and useless – as belt is bound around the waist so in the same way I bound the people of Judah and Israel to me to be my people for my praise and honor but they did not listen

So tell them every wineskin should be filled with wine – means everybody will be dunked either rulers or prophets – I smash them one against the other, parents and children also – I will show no mercy and passion. God said do not be arrogant rather pay attention on my words

Give glory to God before he brings utter darkness

Jeremiah said if you will not listen – my eyes will weep bitterly - as Lord’s flock will be taken captive

God said tell queens and kings that your crowns will fall from your head – and all Judah will carry away to exile

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
