 Jeremiah 14, verse 1-3

Drought, Famine, Sword

God told Jeremiah about drought in Jerusalem

This is the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought:

2 “Judah mourns,     her cities languish; they wail for the land,     and a cry goes up from Jerusalem. 3 The nobles send their servants for water;     they go to the cisterns     but find no water. They return with their jars unfilled;     dismayed and despairing,     they cover their heads.خشک سالی اور جھو ٹے نبی

14 خداوند کا و ہ کلام جو خشک سالی کی بابت یرمیاہ پر ناز ل ہوا:

2 یہودا ہ ماتم کرتا ہے    کیو ں کہ ان کے شہر کمزور ہیںاور اندھیرا زمین کو ڈھک لیا ہے۔    یروشلم خدا سے بلند آواز میں چلا رہا ہے۔3 امراء اپنے خادموں کو پانی لا نے کیلئے بھیجتے ہیں۔    وہ کنواں تک جا تے ہیں لیکن وہ پانی نہیں پا تے۔وہ خادم خالی گھڑے لئے لوٹ آتے ہیں۔    اس لئے وہ صرف شرمندہ نہ ہو ئے بلکہ پریشان بھی ہو ئے۔    وہ اپنے سر کو شرم سے ڈھانپ لیتے ہیں۔

My point of view about above verses

God tell Jeremiah about draught and said that inhabitants and nobels will be disturbed as they will not find water and feel ashamed

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
