Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 14, verse 17-18

Drought, Famine, Sword

God said speak the following to them

17 “Speak this word to them:

“‘Let my eyes overflow with tears     night and day without ceasing; for the Virgin Daughter, my people,     has suffered a grievous wound,     a crushing blow. 18 If I go into the country,     I see those slain by the sword; if I go into the city,     I see the ravages of famine. Both prophet and priest     have gone to a land they know not.’”

17 “اے یرمیا ہ! یہ پیغام یہودا ہ کے لوگوں کو دو:

'میری آنکھیں آنسوؤں سے بھری ہو ئی ہیں۔    میں شب و روز لگاتار روؤں گا۔میں اپنی کنوا ری دختر کے لئے روؤں گا۔ میں اپنے لوگوں کے لئے روؤں گا۔    کیوں؟ کیوں کہ کسی نے ان پر حملہ کیا اور انہیں کچل ڈا لا۔    وہ بُری طرح زخمی کئے گئے ہیں۔18 اگر میں با ہر میدان میں جا ؤں    تو وہاں تلوار کے مقتول ہیں!اور اگر میں شہر میں داخل ہو ؤں    تو وہاں قحط سالی کے مارے ہیں!ہاں نبی اور کا ہن دونوں ایک ایسے ملک کو جا ئیں گے    جسے وہ نہیں جانتے۔ ”

My point of view about above verses

God tell Jeremiah about draught and said that inhabitants and nobels will be disturbed as they will not find water and feel ashamed - Farmers and birds are in distressed because of harsh weather iniatated by God 

God told me don’t pray for these people although they fast, offer burnt offerings, I will not accept them – I will destroy them with sword, famine and plague

God said they love to go here and there so Lord will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins

I told God that prophets are telling them that there will be peace – God told me they are prophesying to you false visions in my name but I didn't send  them – so all the prophets will be thrown into the streets of Jerusalem because of famine and sword – there will be no one to bury them – I will pour out on them the calamity they deserve

God said I mourn for them as they, theirs prophets and priests will go into exile because of forsaking me and worshipping other gods

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
