 Jeremiah 16, verse 1 - 4

Day of Disaster

Then the word of the Lord came to me: 2 “You must not marry and have sons or daughters in this place.” 3 For this is what the Lord says about the sons and daughters born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers: 4 “They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like dung lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the wild animals.”

یَرمِیاہ کی زِندگی کے لِئے خُدا کی مَرضی

1خُداوند کا کلام مُجھ پر نازِل ہُؤا اور اُس نے فرمایا۔ 2تُو بِیوی نہ کرنا۔ اِس جگہ تیرے ہاں بیٹے بیٹِیاں نہ ہوں۔ 3کیونکہ خُداوند اُن بیٹوں اور بیٹِیوں کی بابت جو اِس جگہ پَیدا ہُوئے ہیں اور اُن کی ماؤں کی بابت جِنہوں نے اُن کو وِلادت دی اور اُن کے باپوں کی بابت جِن سے وہ پَیدا ہُوئے یُوں فرماتا ہے۔ 4کہ وہ بُری مَوت مریں گے۔ نہ اُن پر کوئی ماتم کرے گا اور نہ وہ دفن کِئے جائیں گے۔ وہ سطحِ زمِین پر کھاد کی مانِند ہوں گے۔ وہ تلوار اور کال سے ہلاک ہوں گے اور اُن کی لاشیں ہوا کے پرِندوں اور زمِین کے درِندوں کی خُوراک ہوں گی۔

My point of view about above verses

God told me you will not marry in this land because God says that sons and daughters born in this land will die because of deadly disease – they will not be mourned or buried – they will perish by sword and famine and their dead bodies will become food of animals and birds

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
