 Jeremiah 16, verse 5-7

Day of Disaster

5 For this is what the Lord says: “Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people,” declares the Lord. 6 “Both high and low will die in this land. They will not be buried or mourned, and no one will cut themselves or shave their head for the dead. 7 No one will offer food to comfort those who mourn for the dead—not even for a father or a mother—nor will anyone give them a drink to console them.

5اِس لِئے خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ تُو ماتم والے گھر میں داخِل نہ ہو اور نہ اُن پر رونے کے لِئے جا نہ اُن پر ماتم کر کیونکہ خُداوند فرماتا ہے مَیں نے اپنی سلامتی اور شفقت و رحمت کو اِن لوگوں پر سے اُٹھا لِیا ہے۔ 6اور اِس مُلک کے چھوٹے بڑے سب مَر جائیں گے۔ نہ وہ دفن کِئے جائیں گے نہ لوگ اُن پر ماتم کریں گے اور نہ کوئی اُن کے لِئے زخمی ہو گا نہ سر مُنڈائے گا۔ 7نہ لوگ ماتم کرنے والوں کو کھانا کِھلائیں گے تاکہ اُن کو مُردوں کی بابت تسلّی دیں اور نہ اُن کو دِل داری کا پِیالہ دیں گے کہ وہ اپنے ماں باپ کے غم میں پِئیں۔

My point of view about above verses

God told me you will not marry in this land because God says that sons and daughters born in this land will die because of deadly disease – they will not be mourned or buried – they will perish by sword and famine and their dead bodies will become food of animals and birds

God told me do not go in any house where there is funeral and mourn for them or offer any food to comfort mourners – even if it is your father or mother and do not give them a drink to console them – both high or low will die in this land as I have withdrawn my blessings, my love and pity from this people

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
