 Jeremiah 17, verse 1- 4

 “Judah’s sin is engraved with an iron tool,     inscribed with a flint point, on the tablets of their hearts     and on the horns of their altars. 2 Even their children remember     their altars and Asherah poles beside the spreading trees     and on the high hills. 3 My mountain in the land     and your wealth and all your treasures I will give away as plunder,     together with your high places,     because of sin throughout your country. 4 Through your own fault you will lose     the inheritance I gave you. I will enslave you to your enemies     in a land you do not know, for you have kindled my anger,     and it will burn forever.”

یہُوداؔہ کا گُناہ اور سزا

1یہُوداؔہ کا گُناہ لوہے کے قلم اور ہِیرے کی نوک سے لِکھا گیا ہے۔ اُن کے دِل کی تختی پر اور اُن کے مذبحوں کے سِینگوں پر کندہ کِیا گیا ہے۔ 2کیونکہ اُن کے بیٹے اپنے مذبحوں اور یسِیرتوں کو یاد کرتے ہیں جو ہرے درختوں کے پاس اُونچے پہاڑوں پر ہیں۔ 3اَے میرے پہاڑ جو مَیدان میں ہے! مَیں تیرا مال اور تیرے سب خزانے اور تیرے اُونچے مقام جِن کو تُو نے اپنی تمام سرحدّوں پر گُناہ کے لِئے بنایا لُٹاؤُں گا۔ 4اور تُو از خُود اُس مِیراث سے جو مَیں نے تُجھے دی اپنے قصُور کے باعِث ہاتھ اُٹھائے گا اور مَیں اُس مُلک میں جِسے تُو نہیں جانتا تُجھ سے تیرے دُشمنوں کی خِدمت کراؤُں گا کیونکہ تُم نے میرے قہر کی آگ بھڑکا دی ہے جو ہمیشہ تک جلتی رہے گی۔

My point of view about above verses

God said Judah’s sins are engraved with iron tool on the tablets of their hearts, even their children remember the bad old days of their sins so I will enslave you to your enemies on a land you don’t know as you have kindled my anger

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
