Genesis 9
17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
God gave sign for his covenant made to living creatures after Noah – The sign is for His remembrance of Covenant with life on earth. The sign is rainbow in sky when there are clouds. And God will see that sign and will not destroy earth & living creatures with water
