 Jeremiah 17, verse 5 -6

 5 This is what the Lord says:

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,     who draws strength from mere flesh     and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;     they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,     in a salt land where no one lives.

5خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ

ملعُون ہے وہ آدمی

جو اِنسان پر توکُّل کرتا ہے اور بشر کو اپنا بازُو جانتا

ہے اور جِس کا دِل خُداوند سے برگشتہ ہو جاتا ہے۔

6کیونکہ وہ رتمہ کی مانِند ہو گا جو بیابان میں ہے

اور کبھی بھلائی نہ دیکھے گا

بلکہ بیابان کی بے آب جگہوں میں اور غَیر آباد

زمِینِ شور میں رہے گا۔

My point of view about above verses

God said Judah’s sins are engraved with iron tool on the tablets of their hearts, even their children remember the bad old days of their sins so I will enslave you to your enemies on a land you don’t know as you have kindled my anger

God said cursed is one who trust on mere flesh means man & whose heart turns away from God

Such person who trust man instead of God will dwell in dry places in salt where no one lives

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
