 Jeremiah 17, verse 7-8

 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,     whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water     that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes;     its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought     and never fails to bear fruit.”

7مُبارک ہے وہ آدمی جو خُداوند پر توکُّل کرتا ہے اور

جِس کی اُمّیدگاہ خُداوند ہے۔

8کیونکہ وہ اُس درخت کی مانِند ہو گا جو پانی کے پاس لگایا جائے

اور اپنی جڑ دریا کی طرف پَھیلائے

اور جب گرمی آئے تو اُسے کُچھ خطرہ نہ ہو

بلکہ اُس کے پتّے ہرے رہیں

اور خُشک سالی کا اُسے کُچھ خَوف نہ ہو

اور پَھل لانے سے باز نہ رہے۔

My point of view about above verses

God said Judah’s sins are engraved with iron tool on the tablets of their hearts, even their children remember the bad old days of their sins so I will enslave you to your enemies on a land you don’t know as you have kindled my anger

God said cursed is one who trust on mere flesh means man & whose heart turns away from God

Such person who trust man instead of God will dwell in dry places in salt where no one lives

God said blessed is the person who trust in God – he is like a tree planted near water which bears fruit – it has no worries whether draught comes

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
