 Jeremiah 17, verse 24 - 25

Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy

24 But if you are careful to obey me, declares the Lord, and bring no load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it, 25 then kings who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this city with their officials. They and their officials will come riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by the men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever.

24اور یُوں ہو گا کہ اگر تُم دِل لگا کر میری سُنو گے خُداوند فرماتا ہے اور سبت کے دِن تُم اِس شہر کے پھاٹکوں کے اندر بوجھ نہ لاؤ گے بلکہ سبت کے دِن کو مُقدّس جانو گے یہاں تک کہ اُس میں کُچھ کام نہ کرو۔ 25تو اِس شہر کے پھاٹکوں سے داؤُد کے جانشِین بادشاہ اور اُمرا داخِل ہوں گے۔ وہ اور اُن کے اُمرا یہُوداؔہ کے لوگ اور یروشلیِم کے باشِندے رتھوں اور گھوڑوں پر سوار ہوں گے اور یہ شہر ہمیشہ تک آباد رہے گا۔  

My point of view about above verses

God said Judah’s sins are engraved with iron tool on the tablets of their hearts, even their children remember the bad old days of their sins so I will enslave you to your enemies on a land you don’t know as you have kindled my anger

God told who gain riches by unjust means – and when their life half gone their riches will waste them and in end they will prove fools

God said tell people of Judah and Jerusalem keep the Sabbath day holy – don’t bring any load from the gates of Jerusalem in and out on Sabbath day – 

Then heir of King David will enter from the gates of this city and it remains populated forever 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
