Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 18, verse 11-12

At the Potter’s House

11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’ 12 But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’”

11اور اب تُو جا کر یہُوداؔہ کے لوگوں اور یروشلیِم کے باشِندوں سے کہہ دے کہ خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھو مَیں تُمہارے لِئے مُصِیبت تجوِیز کرتا ہُوں اور تُمہاری مُخالفت میں منصُوبہ باندھتا ہُوں۔ سو اب تُم میں سے ہر ایک اپنی بُری روِش سے باز آئے اور اپنی راہ اور اپنے اعمال کو درُست کرے۔ 12پر وہ کہیں گے کہ یہ تو فضُول ہے کیونکہ ہم اپنے منصُوبوں پر چلیں گے اور ہر ایک اپنے بُرے دِل کی سختی کے مُطابِق عمل کرے گا۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said you Israelites are in my hands like a clay in potter’s hand – If a nation do evil and later repent so I will change my mind of bringing disaster on them but if a nation or kingdom is to be built and later it do evil so I will consider of doing good with it or not

God said go to people of Judah and Jerusalem – I am preparing a disaster for you so turn from your evil ways but they will say no we will not do that – we will follow the stubbornness of our hearts

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
