Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 19, verse 14-15

¹⁴ Jeremiah then returned from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy, and stood in the court of the Lord’s temple and said to all the people, ¹⁵ “This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘Listen! I am going to bring on this city and all the villages around it every disaster I pronounced against them, because they were stiff-necked and would not listen to my words.’”

14تب یَرمِیاؔہ تُوفت سے جہاں خُداوند نے اُسے نبُوّت کرنے کو بھیجا تھا واپس آیا اور خُداوند کے گھر کے صحن میں کھڑا ہو کر تمام لوگوں سے کہنے لگا۔ 15ربُّ الافواج اِسرائیل کا خُدا یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھو مَیں اِس شہر پر اور اِس کی سب بستِیوں پر وہ تمام بلا جو مَیں نے اِس پر بھیجنے کو کہا تھا لاؤُں گا اِس لِئے کہ اُنہوں نے نِہایت گردن کشی کی تاکہ میری باتوں کو نہ سُنیں۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah pronounce to the people of Jerusalem and Judah that i going to bring a terrible disaster on you and this place that whoever will listen will tremble

God said I will make them fall by sword before their enemies – they will eat the flesh of their children as siege will be so hard & their carcasses will be eaten by wild animals and children

God said smash this jar of potter in front of people and tell them I will smash this nation like this jar which can’t be repaired – they will bury their dead in Topheth so there is no more room

God said I will make this city like Topheth – House of Judah and Jerusalem will be defiled like this place

Jeremiah stood in court of Lord’s temple and says God said I am going to bring on this city and all villages around it a disaster I pronounced as they are stiff necked people who would  not like listen to my words

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
