Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 22, verse 20-23

²⁰ “Go up to Lebanon and cry out,     let your voice be heard in Bashan, cry out from Abarim,     for all your allies are crushed. ²¹ I warned you when you felt secure,     but you said, ‘I will not listen!’ This has been your way from your youth;     you have not obeyed me. ²² The wind will drive all your shepherds away,     and your allies will go into exile. Then you will be ashamed and disgraced     because of all your wickedness.

²³ You who live in ‘Lebanon,     who are nestled in cedar buildings, how you will groan when pangs come upon you,     pain like that of a woman in labor!

یروشلیِم کے اَنجام کے بارے میں یرمِیاہ کا پَیغام

20تُو لُبناؔن پر چڑھ جا اور چِلاّ

اور بسن میں اپنی آواز بُلند کر

اور عبارِیم پر سے نالہ کر

کیونکہ تیرے سب چاہنے والے مارے گئے۔

21مَیں نے تیری اِقبال مندی کے ایّام میں تُجھ سے کلام کِیا

پر تُو نے کہا مَیں نہ سنُوں گی۔

تیری جوانی سے تیری یِہی چال ہے

22ایک آندھی تیرے چرواہوں کو اُڑا لے جائے گی

اور تیرے عاشِق اَسِیری میں جائیں گے۔

تب تُو اپنی ساری شرارت کے لِئے

شرمسار اور پشیمان ہو گی۔

23اَے لُبناؔن کی بسنے والی جو اپنا آشیانہ دیوداروں پر بناتی ہے

تُو کَیسی عاجِز ہو گی جب تُو زچّہ کی مانِند دردِ زِہ میں مُبتلا ہو گی!

My point of view about above verses

God told what it means to know him - it means to do right and just - defend the cause of poor and needy - then all will went well with you - If we know God it means we should do right 

God said do what is right and just so that all went well with you, defend the cause of poor and needy – This means to know me – don’t put your eyes and heart on dishonest gain and shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. God said woe to such people who build their palace by unrighteousness

This is what God said about Jehoiakim son of king of Judah, they will not mourn for him, he will have a burial of donkey – just dragged away and thrown outside the gate of Jerusalem

God said cry o Israel but I will not listen – your shepherds will drive away because of your wickedness- you will be in pain like of a woman in labor

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
