Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 22, verse 28-30

²⁸ Is this man Jehoiachin a despised, broken pot,     an object no one wants? Why will he and his children be hurled out,     cast into a land they do not know? ²⁹ O land, land, land,     hear the word of the Lord!³⁰ This is what the Lord says: “Record this man as if childless,     a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper,     none will sit on the throne of David     or rule anymore in Judah.”

28کیا یہ شخص کونیاؔہ ناچِیز ٹُوٹا برتن ہے یا اَیسا برتن جِسے کوئی نہیں پُوچھتا؟ وہ اور اُس کی اَولاد کیوں نِکال دِئے گئے اور اَیسے مُلک میں جلاوطن کِئے گئے جِسے وہ نہیں جانتے؟

29اَے زمِین زمِین زمِین! خُداوند کا کلام سُن۔

30خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ

اِس آدمی کو بے اَولاد لِکھو

جو اپنے دِنوں میں اِقبال مندی کا مُنہ نہ دیکھے گا

کیونکہ اُس کی اَولاد میں سے کبھی کوئی اَیسا اِقبال مند

نہ ہو گا کہ داؤُد کے تخت پر بَیٹھے اور یہُوداؔہ پر سلطنت کرے۔

My point of view about above verses

God told what it means to know him - it means to do right and just - defend the cause of poor and needy - then all will went well with you - If we know God it means we should do right 

God said do what is right and just so that all went well with you, defend the cause of poor and needy – This means to know me – don’t put your eyes and heart on dishonest gain and shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. God said woe to such people who build their palace by unrighteousness

God said cry o Israel but I will not listen – your shepherds will drive away because of your wickedness- you will be in pain like of a woman in labor

God said to Jehoiachin – I will pull you off from this land and handover to Nebuchadnezzar – king of Babylon whom you fear – you and your mother will go to another country where neither of you born and die there and will never return to land you long to return to

God said this man Jehoiachin is a broken pot, record him as childless – a man who will not prosper in his life time- none of his offspring will sit on David’s throne

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
