 Jeremiah 23, verse 5-6

⁵ “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,     “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely     and do what is just and right in the land. ⁶ In his days Judah will be saved     and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called:     The Lord Our Righteous Savior.

5دیکھ وہ دِن آتے ہیں خُداوند فرماتا ہے کہ مَیں داؤُد کے لِئے ایک صادِق شاخ پَیدا کرُوں گا اور اُس کی بادشاہی مُلک میں اِقبال مندی اور عدالت اور صداقت کے ساتھ ہو گی۔ 6اُس کے ایّام میں یہُوداؔہ نجات پائے گا اور اِسرائیل سلامتی سے سکُونت کرے گا اور اُس کا نام یہ رکھّا جائے گا خُداوند ہماری صداقت۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said woe to the shepherds who are destroying the sheep of my pasture – so I will bring punishment on you for the evil you have done

God said I will gather remnant of my flock out of all countries and bring them back to their pasture – where they will be fruitful and increase in number – I will place such shepherds on them who will guide them so they will not be missing any more

God said I will raise a king for David – who will do right, and just in land – in his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
