Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 23, verse 11-12

¹¹ “Both prophet and priest are godless;     even in my temple I find their wickedness,” declares the Lord.

¹² “Therefore their path will become slippery;     they will be banished to darkness     and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them     in the year they are punished,” declares the Lord.

11کہ نبی اور کاہِن دونوں ناپاک ہیں۔

ہاں مَیں نے اپنے گھر کے اندر اُن کی شرارت دیکھی

خُداوند فرماتا ہے۔

12اِس لِئے اُن کے راہ اُن کے حق میں اَیسی ہو گی

جَیسے تارِیکی میں پِھسلنی جگہ۔

وہ اُس میں رگیدے جائیں گے اور وہاں

جَیسے تارِیکی میں پِھسلنی جگہ۔

وہ اُس میں رگیدے جائیں گے اور وہاں

گِریں گے

کیونکہ خُداوند فرماتا ہے

مَیں اُن پر بلا لاؤُں گا

یعنی اُن کی سزا کا سال۔

My point of view about above verses

God said woe to the shepherds who are destroying the sheep of my pasture – so I will bring punishment on you for the evil you have done

God said I will gather remnant of my flock out of all countries and bring them back to their pasture – where they will be fruitful and increase in number – I will place such shepherds on them who will guide them so they will not be missing any more

God said I will raise a king for David – who will do right, and just in land – in his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety

God said because of unjust use of power by prophets - land is cursed 

God said days are coming when people will say as surely as Lord lives, who brought descendants of Israelites not only from Egypt but from North and out of all other countries so that they can stay in their own land

God said both prophet and priest are godless- even in my temple they do wickedness

So God said I will punish them – their path will become slippery and they will fall

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
