Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 23, verse 17

¹⁷ They keep saying to those who despise me,     ‘The Lord says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts     they say, ‘No harm will come to you.’

17وہ مُجھے حقِیر جاننے والوں سے کہتے رہتے ہیں خُداوند نے فرمایا ہے کہ تُمہاری سلامتی ہو گی اور ہر ایک سے جو اپنے دِل کی سختی پر چلتا ہے کہتے ہیں کہ تُجھ پر کوئی بلا نہ آئے گی۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said prophets of Jerusalem are horrible, they commit adultery and live lie and strengthen evil doers so that no one can turn from their wickedness- They are like Sodom and people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah

God said these prophets has to eat bitter food and poisoned water as ungodliness has spread throughout the land because of them

God said don’t listen to prophets as their prophesies are false, visions are from their own minds and not from the side of God

Prophets used to say to those who hate me and making me angry by their deeds that you will have peace and also says no harm will come to youMay God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
