 Jeremiah 25, verse 1-6

Seventy Years of Captivity

The word came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. ² So Jeremiah the prophet said to all the people of Judah and to all those living in Jerusalem: ³ For twenty-three years—from the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah until this very day—the word of the Lord has come to me and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened 

⁴ And though the Lord has sent all his servants the prophets to you again and again, you have not listened or paid any attention. ⁵ They said, “Turn now, each of you, from your evil ways and your evil practices, and you can stay in the land the Lord gave to you and your ancestors for ever and ever. ⁶ Do not follow other gods to serve and worship them; do not arouse my anger with what your hands have made. Then I will not harm you.”

شِمال کی طرف سے دُشمن

1وہ کلام جو شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہویقِیم بِن یوسیاؔہ کے چَوتھے برس میں جو شاہِ بابل نبُوکدنضرؔ کا پہلا برس تھا یہُوداؔہ کے سب لوگوں کی بابت یَرمِیاؔہ پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 2جو یَرمِیاؔہ نبی نے یہُوداؔہ کے سب لوگوں اور یروشلیِم کے سب باشِندوں کو سُنایا اور کہا۔ 3کہ شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یوسیاؔہ بِن آمُوؔن کے تیرھویں برس سے آج تک یہ تیئِیس برس خُداوند کا کلام مُجھ پر نازِل ہوتا رہا اور مَیں تُم کو سُناتا اور بر وقت جتاتا رہا پر تُم نے نہ سُنا۔ 4اور خُداوند نے اپنے سب خِدمت گُذار نبِیوں کو تُمہارے پاس بھیجا۔ اُس نے اُن کو  

بر وقت بھیجا پر تُم نے نہ سُنا اور نہ کان

لگایا۔ 5اُنہوں نے کہا کہ تُم سب اپنی اپنی بُری راہ سے اور اپنے بُرے کاموں سے باز آؤ اور اُس مُلک میں جو خُداوند نے تُم کو اور تُمہارے باپ دادا کو قدِیم سے ہمیشہ کے لِئے دِیا ہے بسو۔ 6اور غَیر معبُودوں کی پَیروی نہ کرو کہ اُن کی عِبادت و پرستِش کرو اور اپنے ہاتھوں کے کاموں سے مُجھے غضب ناک نہ کرو اور مَیں تُم کو کُچھ ضرر نہ پُہنچاؤُں گا 

My point of view about above verses

God told don’t arouse my anger by serving and worshiping other gods so that I will not harm you

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
