Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 25, verse 8-11

Seventy Years of Captivity

⁸ Therefore the Lord Almighty says this: “Because you have not listened to my words, ⁹ I will summon all the peoples of the north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon,” declares the Lord, “and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and scorn, and an everlasting ruin. ¹⁰ I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp. ¹¹ This whole country will become a desolate wasteland, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

⁸ اس لئے خدا وند قادر مطلق یوں فرماتا ہے، “تم نے میری بات نہ سنی۔ ⁹ دیکھو میں تمام شمالی قبائل کو اور اپنے خدمت گزار شاہ بابل نبو کد نضر کو بلاؤں گا۔ خدا وند فرماتا ہے اور میں ان سے تمہارے ملک، اسکے لوگوں اور اسکے آس پاس کے تمام قوموں پر حملہ کرواؤں گا۔ میں ان کو بالکل نیست و نابود کر دوں گا۔ لوگ انکا مذاق اڑائیں گے اور میں انہیں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے تباہ و برباد کردوں گا۔ ¹⁰ بلکہ میں ان سے خوشی و شادمانی کی آواز، دلہے اور دلہن کی آواز، چکی کی آواز اور چراغ کی روشنی موقوف کر دوں گا۔ ¹¹ وہ ساری سر زمین ہی بیا بان ہوگی۔ وہ سارے لوگ شاہ بابل کے ستّر برس تک غلام ہوں گے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told don’t arouse my anger by serving and worshiping other gods so that I will not harm you

God said you arouse my anger by what your hand has made and brought harm to yourselves

God said as you didn’t listen my words – I will bring all peoples of north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar – king of Babylon against this land to destroy it and make it a object of horror and scorn and an everlasting ruin- there will be no sounds of joy and gladness- the whole country will become a desolate land and these nations will serve king of Babylon for 70 years

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
