 Jeremiah 25, verse 12

Seventy Years of Captivity

¹² “But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians, for their guilt,” declares the Lord, “and will make it desolate forever.

¹² “جب ستّر برس پورے ہوں گے تو میں شاہ بابل کو سزا دوں گا۔” یہ پیغام خدا وند کا ہے۔“میں بابل کے باشندوں کے ملک کو انکے گناہوں کی سزا دوں گا۔ میں اس ملک کو ہمیشہ کے لئے بیا بان بناؤں گا 

My point of view about above verses

God told don’t arouse my anger by serving and worshiping other gods so that I will not harm you

God said you arouse my anger by what your hand has made and brought harm to yourselves

God said as you didn’t listen my words – I will bring all peoples of north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar – king of Babylon against this land to destroy it and make it a object of horror and scorn and an everlasting ruin- there will be no sounds of joy and gladness- the whole country will become a desolate land and these nations will serve king of Babylon for 70 years

God said when seventy years will finish I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation and land of Babylonians for their guilt and will make it desolate forever

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
