Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 26, verse 1-6

Jeremiah Threatened With Death

Early in the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came from the Lord: ² “This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s house and speak to all the people of the towns of Judah who come to worship in the house of the Lord. Tell them everything I command you; do not omit a word. ³ Perhaps they will listen and each will turn from their evil ways. Then I will relent and not inflict on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done.

⁴ Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: If you do not listen to me and follow my law, which I have set before you, ⁵ and if you do not listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I have sent to you again and again (though you have not listened), ⁶ then I will make this house like Shiloh and this city a curse among all the nations of the earth.’”

ہیکل میں یرمیاہ کا سبق

26 یوسیاہ کے بیٹے یہویقیم کے یہودا ہ میں حکومت کر نے کے پہلے سال یہ پیغام خداوند کی طرف سے ناز ل ہوا۔ ² خداوند یوں فرماتا ہے: “اے یرمیاہ! خداوند کے گھر کے آنگن میں کھڑے ہو جا ؤ۔ یہودا ہ کے ان سبھی لوگوں کو یہ پیغام دو جو خداوند کے گھر میں عبادت کر نے کے لئے تمام یہودا ہ آئے ہیں۔ تم ان سے وہ سب کچھ کہو جو میں تم سے کہنے کو کہہ رہا ہوں۔ میرے کلام کے کسی بھی حصہ کو مت چھوڑو۔ ³ ہو سکتا ہے وہ میرے کلام کو سنیں اور اس کے تحت چلیں۔ ہو سکتا ہے وہ بری زندگی گذارنا چھوڑدیں۔ اگر وہ بدل جا ئیں تو میں ان کو سزا دینے منصوبے کے با رے میں اپنے فیصلے کو بدل سکتا ہوں۔ میں ان کو سزا دینے کا اس لئے منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں کیوں کہ انہوں نے بہت سے برے کام کئے ہیں

⁴ تم ان سے کہو گے، ’خداوند جو کہتا ہے، وہ یہ ہے: میں نے اپنی تعلیمات تمہیں دی۔ تمہیں چا ہئے کہ میری بات کو مانیں اور میری تعلیمات پر عمل کریں۔ ⁵ تمہیں میرے خدمت گذاروں کی وہ باتیں سننی چا ہئے جو وہ خود تم سے کہیں۔(نبی میرے خدمتگار ہیں ) میں نے نبیوں کو تمہا رے پاس بار بار بھیجا ہے۔ لیکن تم نے ان کی ان سنی کی ہے۔ ⁶ اگر تم نے میری با ت نہیں مانی تو میں اپنے یروشلم کے گھر کو شیلاہ کی مقدس خیمہ کی طرح دو ں گا۔ سادی دنیا کی دیگر قوموں کے لوگ مصیبت کے دوران یروشلم کے با رے میں سوچیں گے۔” 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah stand in the courtyard of Lord’s house and speak to all the people of Judah, probably they listen and I relent myself to not bring disaster because of the evil they have done- if you will not listen and follow my law which I have set before you and if you will not listen to my prophets whom I have sent to you again and again – I will make this house a city of curse among all the nations of earth

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
