Jeremiah Threatened With Death

¹⁰ When the officials of Judah heard about these things, they went up from the royal palace to the house of the Lord and took their places at the entrance of the New Gate of the Lord’s house. ¹¹ Then the priests and the prophets said to the officials and all the people, “This man should be sentenced to death because he has prophesied against this city. You have heard it with your own ears!”

¹⁰ اس طرح یہودا ہ کے امراء نے ان ساری باتوں کو سنا جو ہو رہی تھيں۔ اس لئے وہ بادشا ہ کے محل سے با ہر آئے۔ وہ خداوند کے گھر کو گئے وہ نئے پھاٹک کے مدخل پر بیٹھ گئے۔ نیا پھاٹک وہ پھاٹک ہے جہا ں سے خداوند کی ہیکل کو جا تے ہیں۔ ¹¹ تب کا ہنوں اور نبیوں نے امراء اور سبھی لوگوں سے باتیں کیں۔انہوں نے کہا، “یرمیاہ کو مارڈا لا جانا چا ہئے۔اس نے یروشلم کے خلاف نبوت کیا ہے۔جیسا کہ تم نے بھی اسے وہ باتیں کہتے سنا۔” 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah stand in the courtyard of Lord’s house and speak to all the people of Judah, probably they listen and I relent myself to not bring disaster because of the evil they have done- if you will not listen and follow my law which I have set before you and if you will not listen to my prophets whom I have sent to you again and again – I will make this house a city of curse among all the nations of earth

All people threatend Jeremiah to die as he was speaking on LORDS'S NAME that this city will be destroyed 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
