Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 27, verse 16-19

Judah

 ¹⁶ Then I said to the priests and all these people, “This is what the Lord says: Do not listen to the prophets who say, ‘Very soon now the articles from the Lord’s house will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying lies to you. ¹⁷ Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and you will live. Why should this city become a ruin? ¹⁸ If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead with the Lord Almighty that the articles remaining in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be taken to Babylon. ¹⁹ For this is what the Lord Almighty says about the pillars, the bronze Sea, the movable stands and the other articles that are left in this city,

16مَیں نے کاہِنوں سے اور اُن سب لوگوں سے بھی مُخاطِب ہو کر کہا خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ اپنے نبِیوں کی باتیں نہ سُنو جو تُم سے نبُوّت کرتے اور کہتے ہیں کہ دیکھو خُداوند کے گھر کے ظرُوف اب تھوڑی ہی دیر میں بابل سے واپس آ جائیں گے۔ کیونکہ وہ تُم سے جُھوٹی نبُوّت کرتے ہیں۔ 17اُن کی نہ سُنو۔ شاہِ بابل کی خِدمت گُذاری کرو اور زِندہ رہو۔ یہ شہر کیوں وِیران ہو؟ 18پر اگر وہ نبی ہیں اور خُداوند کا کلام اُن کی امانت میں ہے تو وہ ربُّ الافواج سے شفاعت کریں تاکہ وہ ظرُوف جو خُداوند کے گھر میں اور شاہِ یہُوداؔہ کے گھر میں اور یروشلیِم میں باقی ہیں بابل کو نہ جائیں۔

19کیونکہ سُتُونوں کی بابت اور بڑے حَوض اور کُرسِیوں اور باقی ظرُوف کی بابت جو اِس شہر میں باقی ہیں ربُّ الافواج یُوں فرماتا ہے۔ 20

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah tell the kings who came to king of Isreal that i have made this earth and animal and men on it with my power and might  - and I  going to give to whom I want to give 

In the reign of King Zedekiah, this word came to Jeremiah – make a yoke of straps and put it on your neck & send the word to kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, & Sidon – that God of Israel says that with my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals on it and I give it to anyone I please, Now I will give all countries into the hands of my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon – all nations even animals are subject to him until the time for his land comes

God told if any nation will not serve king of Babylon then I will punish that nation with sword, famine and plague

So God told don’t listen to your prophets and their lies if you hear them I will banish you – but if a nation bow its neck to king of Babylon then that nation will remain in its own land to till it and to live there

God said King of Judah Zedekiah has to serve also King of Babylon and his people to live – you have to do this as why will your people die by sword, famine and plague – do not listen to words of prophets as they are lying in my name – There I will banish you and the prophets who prophesy to you

Jeremiah said to priests to not listen to prophets who says that the atricles of Temple will be back soon from Baybalon - just serve king of Baybalon and live so that Jeruselam will also not be destroyed 

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
