 Jeremiah 29, verse 10-11

A Letter to the Exiles

 ¹⁰ This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. ¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ¹² Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

10کیونکہ خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ جب بابل میں ستّر برس گُذر چُکیں گے تو مَیں تُم کو یاد فرماؤُں گا اور تُم کو اِس مکان میں واپس لانے سے اپنے نیک قَول کو پُورا کرُوں گا۔ 11کیونکہ مَیں تُمہارے حق میں اپنے خیالات کو جانتا ہُوں خُداوند فرماتا ہے یعنی سلامتی کے خیالات۔ بُرائی کے نہیں تاکہ مَیں تُم کو نیک انجام کی اُمّید بخشُوں۔ 

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah wrote a letter to priests and people who exiled to Babylon - and told them God says go there and settle in their cities - pray for that city as if the city will prosper, you will prosper - get married and increase in numbers 

God told Jeremiah, tell Israelites that donot trust prophets and diveners and they tell lies on my name 

God told through Jeremiah that go to Babylon and from there i will bring you back after 70 years  

May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
