 Jeremiah 29, verse 20-21

A Letter to the Exiles

²⁰ Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon. ²¹ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: “I will deliver them into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes.

20پس تُم اَے اَسِیری کے سب لوگو جِن کو مَیں نے یروشلیِم سے بابل کو بھیجا ہے خُداوند کا کلام سُنو۔

21ربُّ الافواج اِسرائیل کا خُدا اخیؔاب بِن قولایاؔہ کی بابت اور صِدقیاہ بِن معسیاؔہ کی بابت جو میرا نام لے کر تُم سے جُھوٹی نبُوّت کرتے ہیں یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھو مَیں اُن کو شاہِ بابل نبُوکدؔرضر کے حوالہ کرُوں گا اور وہ اُن کو تُمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے قتل کرے گا

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah wrote a letter to priests and people who exiled to Babylon - and told them God says go there and settle in their cities - pray for that city as if the city will prosper, you will prosper - get married and increase in numbers 

 God told through Jeremiah that go to Babylon and do not trust on prophets and diviners  there, if you will not go i will send famine, pestilence and you will be like rotten fig which can't be eaten 

God told Jeremiah, tell Israelites that do not trust prophets and diviners who prophecy lies on my name, I will hand them over to king of Nebuchadnezzar and he will kill them

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
