 Jeremiah 32, verse 1-5

Jeremiah Buys a Field

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. ² The army of the king of Babylon was then besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was confined in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace of Judah.

³ Now Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him there, saying, “Why do you prophesy as you do? You say, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am about to give this city into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it. ⁴ Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape the Babylonians^[a] but will certainly be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him with his own eyes. ⁵ He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will remain until I deal with him, declares the Lord. If you fight against the Babylonians, you will not succeed.’”

یَرمِیاہ ایک قطعہِ زمِین خرِیدتا ہے

1وہ کلام جو شاہِ یہُوداؔہ صِدقیاہ کے دسویں برس میں جو نبُوکدؔرنضر کا اٹھارھواں برس تھا خُداوند کی طرف سے یَرمِیاؔہ پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 2اور اُس وقت شاہِ بابل کی فَوج یروشلیِم کا مُحاصرہ کِئے پڑی تھی اور یَرمِیاؔہ نبی شاہِ یہُوداؔہ کے گھر میں قَید خانہ کے صحن میں بند تھا۔ 3کیونکہ شاہِ یہُوداؔہ صِدقیاہ نے اُسے یہ کہہ کر قَید کِیا کہ تُو کیوں نبُوّت کرتا اور کہتا ہے کہ خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھ مَیں اِس شہر کو شاہِ بابل کے حوالہ کر دُوں گا اور وہ اِسے لے لے گا۔ 4اور شاہِ یہُوداؔہ صِدقیاہ کسدیوں کے ہاتھ سے نہ بچے گا بلکہ ضرُور شاہِ بابل کے حوالہ کِیا جائے گا اور اُس سے رُوبرُو باتیں کرے گا اور دونوں کی آنکھیں مُقابِل ہوں گی۔ 5اور وہ صِدقیاہ کو بابل میں لے جائے گا اور جب تک مَیں اُس کو یاد نہ فرماؤُں وہ وہِیں رہے گا۔ خُداوند فرماتا ہے ہرچند تُم کسدیوں کے ساتھ جنگ کرو گے پر کامیاب نہ ہو گے؟

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah tht tell Zedekiah king of Judah don’t fight against Babylonians, you will not succeed.

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
