 Jeremiah 32, verse 6-10

Jeremiah Buys a Field

⁶ Jeremiah said, “The word of the Lord came to me: ⁷ Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.’

⁸ “Then, just as the Lord had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard and said, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin. Since it is your right to redeem it and possess it, buy it for yourself.’

“I knew that this was the word of the Lord; ⁹ so I bought the field at Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel and weighed out for him seventeen shekels of silver. ¹⁰ I signed and sealed the deed, had it witnessed, and weighed out the silver on the scales.

یَرمِیاہ ایک قطعہِ زمِین خرِیدتا ہے

6تب یَرمِیاؔہ نے کہا کہ خُداوند کا کلام مُجھ پر نازِل ہُؤا اور اُس نے فرمایا۔ 7دیکھ تیرے چچا سلُوؔم کا بیٹا حنم ایل تیرے پاس آ کر کہے گا کہ میرا کھیت جو عنتوت میں ہے اپنے لِئے خرِید لے کیونکہ اُس کو چُھڑانا تیرا حق ہے۔ 8تب میرے چچا کا بیٹا حنم ایل قَید خانہ کے صحن میں میرے پاس آیا اور جَیسا خُداوند نے فرمایا تھا مُجھ سے کہا کہ میرا کھیت جو عنتوت میں بِنیمِین کے علاقہ میں ہے خرِید لے کیونکہ یہ تیرا مَورُوثی حق ہے اور اُس کو چُھڑانا تیرا کام ہے اُسے اپنے لِئے خرِید لے۔ تب مَیں نے جانا کہ یہ خُداوند کا کلام ہے۔ 

9اور مَیں نے اُس کھیت کو جو عنتوت میں تھا اپنے چچا کے بیٹے حنم ایل سے خرِید لِیا اور نقد ستّرہ مِثقال چاندی تول کر اُسے دی۔ 10اور مَیں نے ایک قبالہ لِکھا اور اُس پر مُہر کی اور گواہ ٹھہرائے اور چاندی ترازُو میں تول کر اُسے دی۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah that tell Zedekiah king of Judah don’t fight against Babylonians, you will not succeed.

God said your uncle is coming to you to buy his field as you are a near relative and when he came to me for selling of that land – I came to know it’s God’s order to do certain things 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
