 Jeremiah 32, verse 16-18

Jeremiah Buys a Field

¹⁶ “After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord:

¹⁷ “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. ¹⁸ You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps of their children after them. Great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord Almighty,

یَرمِیاہ ایک قطعہِ زمِین خرِیدتا ہے

6بارُوؔک بِن نیرِؔیاہ کو قبالہ دینے کے بعد مَیں نے خُداوند سے یُوں دُعا کی۔ 17آہ اَے خُداوند خُدا! دیکھ تُو نے اپنی عظِیم قُدرت اور اپنے بُلند بازُو سے آسمان اور زمِین کو پَیدا کِیا اور تیرے لِئے کوئی کام مُشکِل نہیں ہے۔ 18تُو ہزاروں پر شفقت کرتا ہے اور باپ دادا کی بدکرداری کا بدلہ اُن کے بعد اُن کی اَولاد کے دامن میں ڈال دیتا ہے جِس کا نام خُدایِ عظِیم و قادِر ربُّ الافواج ہے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah that tell Zedekiah king of Judah don’t fight against Babylonians, you will not succeed.

God said your uncle is coming to you to buy his field as you are a near relative and when he came to me for selling of that land – I came to know it’s God’s order to do certain things 

Jeremiah signed the deal and give sealed and unsealed copies of dead to Baruch to put it in a clay jar as Lord told – God said that houses, fields and vineyard will again be bought in this land

Jeremiah prayed to God after giving deed of land to his cousin and said God is great and almighty 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
