 Jeremiah 33, verse 10-11

Promise of Restoration

¹⁰ “This is what the Lord says: ‘You say about this place, “It is a desolate waste, without people or animals.” Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither people nor animals, there will be heard once more ¹¹ the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying,

“Give thanks to the Lord Almighty,     for the Lord is good;     his love endures forever.”

For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,’ says the Lord.

ایک اور اُمّید افزا وَعدہ

10خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ اِس مقام میں جِس کی بابت تُم کہتے ہو کہ وِیران ہے۔ وہاں نہ اِنسان ہے نہ حَیوان یعنی یہُوداؔہ کے شہروں میں اور یروشلیِم کے بازاروں میں جو وِیران ہیں جہاں نہ اِنسان ہیں نہ باشِندے نہ حَیوان۔ 11خُوشی اور شادمانی کی آواز۔ دُلہے اور دُلہن کی آواز اور اُن کی آواز سُنی جائے گی جو کہتے ہیں

ربُّ الافواج کی سِتایش کرو

کیونکہ خُداوند بھلا ہے

اور اُس کی شفقت ابدی ہے۔

ہاں اُن کی آواز جو خُداوند کے گھر میں شُکرگُذاری کی قُربانی لائیں گے کیونکہ خُداوند فرماتا ہے مَیں اِس مُلک کے اسِیروں کو واپس لا کر بحال کرُوں گا۔

12ربُّ الافواج یُوں فرماتا ہے 

My point of view about above verses

When Jeremiah was confined in the courtyard of guard – the word of Lord came to him – I the one who has made the earth, who formed it and established it, call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know

God said that houses and royal palace  in this city will be filled with dead bodies I will slay and I will hide my face from them because of all its wickedness

God said i will restore my people when they return to me and bring them back from the captivity  and they will enjoy peace and security and health 

God said as this is desolate waste – without people or animals – you will heard once again the sounds of joy and gladness – the voices of bridegroom and brides - & the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of Lord.

God said I will restore fortune of the land as it was before – As people who used to bring thank offerings to house of Lord and says Give thanks to the Lord almighty for the Lord is good and his love endures forever

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
