 Jeremiah 33, verse 12-13

Promise of Restoration

¹² “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In this place, desolate and without people or animals—in all its towns there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks. ¹³ In the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev, in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, flocks will again pass under the hand of the one who counts them,’ says the Lord.

ایک اور اُمّید افزا وَعدہ

12ربُّ الافواج یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ اِس وِیران جگہ اور اِس کے سب شہروں میں جہاں نہ اِنسان ہے نہ حَیوان پِھر چرواہوں کے رہنے کے مکان ہوں گے جو اپنے گلّوں کو بِٹھائیں گے۔ 13کوہِستان کے شہروں میں اور وادی کے اور جنُوب کے شہروں میں اور بِنیمِین کے عِلاقہ میں اور یروشلیِم کی نواحی میں اور یہُوداؔہ کے شہروں میں پِھر گلّے گِننے والے کے ہاتھ کے نِیچے سے گُذریں گے خُداوند فرماتا ہے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

When Jeremiah was confined in the courtyard of guard – the word of Lord came to him – I the one who has made the earth, who formed it and established it, call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know

God said that houses and royal palace  in this city will be filled with dead bodies I will slay and I will hide my face from them because of all its wickedness

God said i will restore my people when they return to me and bring them back from the captivity  and they will enjoy peace and security and health 

God said as this is desolate waste – without people or animals – you will heard once again the sounds of joy and gladness – the voices of bridegroom and brides - & the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of Lord.

God said I will restore fortune of the land as it was before – As people who used to bring thank offerings to house of Lord and says Give thanks to the Lord almighty for the Lord is good and his love endures forever

God says in this desolate place – there will be again pastures for shepherds and their flocks - & they will count on them 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
