 Jeremiah 33, verse 19-21

Promise of Restoration

¹⁹ The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: ²⁰ “This is what the Lord says: ‘If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time, ²¹ then my covenant with David my servant—and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me—can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.

ایک اور اُمّید افزا وَعدہ

۔ 19پِھر خُداوند کا کلام یَرمِیاؔہ پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 20خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ اگر تُم میرا وہ عہد جو مَیں نے دِن سے اور رات سے کِیا توڑ سکو کہ دِن اور رات اپنے اپنے وقت پر نہ ہوں۔ 21تو میرا وہ عہد بھی جو مَیں نے اپنے خادِم داؤُد سے کِیا ٹُوٹ سکتا ہے کہ اُس کے تخت پر بادشاہی کرنے کو بیٹا نہ ہو اور وہ عہد بھی جو اپنے خِدمت گُذار لاوی کاہِنوں سے کِیا 

My point of view about above verses

When Jeremiah was confined in the courtyard of guard – the word of Lord came to him – I the one who has made the earth, who formed it and established it, call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know

God said that houses and royal palace  in this city will be filled with dead bodies I will slay and I will hide my face from them because of all its wickedness

God said i will restore my people when they return to me and bring them back from the captivity  and they will enjoy peace and security and health 

God said as this is desolate waste – without people or animals – you will heard once again the sounds of joy and gladness – the voices of bridegroom and brides - & the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of Lord.

God said I will restore fortune of the land as it was before – As people who used to bring thank offerings to house of Lord and says Give thanks to the Lord almighty for the Lord is good and his love endures forever

God says in this desolate place – there will be again pastures for shepherds and their flocks - & they will count on them

God said days are coming when I will fulfill good promise made with Judah and Israelites

God said in those days I will make a righteous branch sprout from David’s line and he will do what is right and just in landIn those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety – this is the by which it will be called the Lord Our righteous savior

God said David will never fail to have a man to sit on throne of Israel nor Levities ever fail to have a priest to offer me grain and burnt offerings

God said if i can break my covenant to cease day and night at their proper time - only in that case i break my covenant with my servant David and Levetical priests 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
