Warning to Zedekiah

 While Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army and all the kingdoms and peoples in the empire he ruled were fighting against Jerusalem and all its surrounding towns, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord: ² “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Go to Zedekiah king of Judah and tell him, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am about to give this city into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it down. ³ You will not escape from his grasp but will surely be captured and given into his hands. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes, and he will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.

صِدقیاہ کے نام پَیغام

1جب شاہِ بابل نبُوکدؔنضر اور اُس کی تمام فَوج اور رُویِ زمِین کی تمام سلطنتیں جو اُس کی فرمانروائی میں تِھیں اور سب اقوام یروشلیِم اور اُس کی سب بستِیوں کے خِلاف جنگ کر رہی تِھیں تب خُداوند کا یہ کلام یَرمِیاؔہ نبی پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 2کہ خُداوند اِسرائیل کا خُدا یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ جا اور شاہِ یہُوداؔہ صِدقیاہ سے کہہ دے کہ خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھ مَیں اِس شہر کو شاہِ بابل کے حوالہ کر دُوں گا اور وہ اِسے آگ سے جلائے گا۔ 3اور تُو اُس کے ہاتھ سے نہ بچے گا بلکہ ضرُور پکڑا جائے گا اور اُس کے حوالہ کِیا جائے گا اور تیری آنکھیں شاہِ بابل کی آنکھوں کو دیکھیں گی اور وہ رُوبرُو تُجھ سے باتیں کرے گا اور تُو بابل کو جائے گا۔

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah tell Zedekiah hand over to him king of Babylon as you will not escape from disaster as I am going to give this city into his hand – and you will speak with him face to face

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
