 Jeremiah 34, verse 15-16

Freedom for Slaves

  ¹⁵ Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed freedom to your own people. You even made a covenant before me in the house that bears my Name. ¹⁶ But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again 

غُلاموں سے فریب

15اور آج ہی کے دِن تُم رجُوع لائے اور وُہی کِیا جو میری نظر میں بھلا ہے کہ ہر ایک نے اپنے ہمسایہ کو آزادی کا مُژدہ دِیا اور تُم نے اُس گھر میں جو میرے نام سے کہلاتا ہے میرے حضُور عہد باندھا۔ 16لیکن تُم نے برگشتہ ہو کر میرے نام کو ناپاک کِیا اور ہر ایک نے اپنے غُلام کو اور اپنی لَونڈی کو جِن کو تُم نے آزاد کر کے اُن کی مرضی پر چھوڑ دِیا تھا پِھر پکڑ کر تابِع کِیا کہ تُمہارے لِئے غُلام اور لَونڈِیاں ہوں 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah when I brought you out of Egypt  and the land of slavery – I said every 7^th year you must free your fellow Hebrew serving you as slaves – your ancestors didn't pay attention to this but now you repent and made covenant in house that bears my name – but you have turned around and forced them to become your slave again

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
