 Jeremiah 34, verse 21-22

Freedom for Slaves

²¹ “I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials into the hands of their enemies who want to kill them, to the army of the king of Babylon, which has withdrawn from you. ²² I am going to give the order, declares the Lord, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, take it and burn it down. And I will lay waste the towns of Judah so no one can live there.”

غُلاموں سے فریب

21اور مَیں شاہِ یہُوداؔہ صِدقیاہ کو اور اُس کے اُمرا کو اُن کے مُخالِفوں اور جانی دُشمنوں اور شاہِ بابل کی فَوج کے جو تُم کو چھوڑ کر چلی گئی حوالہ کر دُوں گا۔ 22دیکھو مَیں حُکم کرُوں گا خُداوند فرماتا ہے اور اُن کو پِھر اِس شہر کی طرف واپس لاؤُں گا اور وہ اِس سے لڑیں گے اور فتح کر کے آگ سے جلائیں گے اور مَیں یہُوداؔہ کے شہروں کو وِیران کر دُوں گا کہ غَیر آباد ہوں۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah when I brought you out of Egypt  and the land of slavery – I said every 7^th year you must free your fellow Hebrew serving you as slaves – your ancestors didn't pay attention to this but now you repent and made covenant in house that bears my name – but you have turned around and forced them to become your slave again

God said as you didn't obey me and free your slaves so I proclaim freedom for you – freedom to fall by sword, plague and famine. You will be hateful to all kingdoms of earth – I will put you into the hands of your enemies and they will kill you and your dead bodies will become food for birds and wild animals

God said I will handover you into the hands of your enemies and they will burn down the towns of Judah so that no one can live there

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
