 Jeremiah 36, verse 27-29

Jehoiakim Burns Jeremiah’s Scroll

²⁷ After the king burned the scroll containing the words that Baruch had written at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: ²⁸ “Take another scroll and write on it all the words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim king of Judah burned up. ²⁹ Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You burned that scroll and said, “Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it both man and beast?”

یَرمِیاہ ایک اور طُومار لِکھتا ہے

27اور جب بادشاہ طُومار اور اُن باتوں کو جو بارُوؔک نے یَرمِیاؔہ کی زُبانی لِکھی تِھیں جلا چُکا تو خُداوند کا یہ کلام یَرمِیاؔہ پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 28کہ تُو دُوسرا طُومار لے اور اُس میں وہ سب باتیں لِکھ جو پہلے طُومار میں تِھیں جِسے شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہویقِیم نے جلا دِیا۔ 29اور شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہویقِیم سے کہہ کہ خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ تُو نے طُومار کو جلا دِیا اور کہا ہے کہ تُو نے اُس میں یُوں کیوں لِکھا کہ شاہِ بابل یقِیناً آئے گا اور اِس مُلک کو غارت کرے گا اور نہ اِس میں اِنسان باقی چھوڑے گا نہ حَیوان۔

My point of view about above verses

God said to Jeremiah take another scroll and write on it all the words written in the first scroll which is burned by king - 

and tell him as you burn the first scroll - and said that why you wrote  that king of Babylon must come and will not leave any human and beast in this place and destroy this land 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
